Filming with BBC Voices

We had a studio session through the BBC Voices project.

The aim of the day was to get together with a few apprentices and trades' union reps to discuss issues of mutual relevance and interest. Interviews and discussions were filmed in the studio and the edited version can be seen on our website, YouTube and is available for you to upload to your own sites or take away as a DVD.

Participants learned how to use the studio, filming and interview techniques and editing. The day involved an introduction to both the technical and editorial issues.

We explored how unions are relevant to apprentices and vice versa. We also explored and discussed other issues of mutual interest, such as the relationship between apprentices and unions. The finished film will be featured at a Regional Conference in Peterborough.
