    Aim of the Meeting
  • To focus particularly on Local Government and Health Services
  • To enable trades unions in the public sector to be more proactively involved
    with the introduction and implementation of Train to Gain
  • To broaden the understanding of how trades unions and management at every
    level can work together within the framework of Train to Gain
  • To identify benefits of cooperative working and explore partnership working
    and what value can be added for all parties
  • To identify the barriers to cooperative working and how these can be overcome
  • To identify the issues involved in introducing more training through Train to Gain
    in the public sector workplace
